Francis Jones and built by Dagless Ltd, this Fleur de Lys 58' was one of only a handful built.  Bought by the previous owner in a sorry state, she underwent a major rebuild in which every part of the yacht was inspected, repaired or replaced.  The whole superstructure and deck were removed and the hull was stripped entirely of paint and sheathing externally.  This allowed full access to the structure and systems of the boat meaning any necessary repair work could be seen and dealt with.  The interior was also replaced in its entirety removing all the old and rather dated joinery, all this work carried out by a member of Guild of Master Craftsmen and documented in an extensive magazine article.  The engines were rebuilt, the electrical and plumbing systems replaced, tanks repaired as necessary, complete new decks and superstructure, repairs to hull planking and framing as well as complete new cosmetics inside and out. The present owners have lived aboard and upgraded many of the systems with new heating and electrical installations.  The boat has been well tested and used over the last 2 years proving that she is now ready for the next owners to go cruising and exploring. This yacht is now in lovely condition and is absolutely ready to move aboard and use as a cruising home.  Everything has been taken care of, not just the cosmetics and parts that can be seen, but also the important areas that often get overlooked. More details, full original build spec and 2017 survey available   Length on Deck                 58' Beam                                    15'4 Draft                                      5'11 Thames Tonnage             46TM     Construction   Hull Planked in 1 7/16 Iroko on 4.5 x 2.5 sawn oak frames.  Steamed Iroko intermediate timbers.  Bronze screw fastened into the sawn frames and copper rivets in the steamed timbers.
